Urban Vintage Ltd opened in 2006 in a 1000 square foot store in the heart of Ipswich and soon became a favourite destination for the fashion conscious individual. The store evolved quickly bringing in new brands but also sticking with firm favourites, offering not only the latest trends but also classic pieces.
Our main aim has always been to provide a pleasurable shopping experience to our customers, we pride ourselves on our customer service and providing honest reliable advice. We feel this is reflected in our customer database which is growing rapidly but also retains the customers that have been loyal to us since the day we opened.
In 2007 we were finalists in the prestigious Drapers industry awards, the store was judged from all aspects with a very high all round standard being required even for nomination. We eventually finished runner up in the best UK new fashion business category something we are very proud of.
Winter 2009 saw menswear move two doors up to a new 1500 square foot store with the original shop now home to womenswear. Since then much has changed the menswear store has been extended to house some of our more premium brands with womenswear being redesigned and refurbished to allow the two to join.
The most recent and one of the most highly requested additions is womenswear on the website. We have started with footwear but through May and June we will be adding clothing and accessories from many exciting brands including Maison Scotch, True Religion, Vivienne Westwood Lee collaboration and Religion to name but a few.
Autumn Winter 2011 will see some highly anticipated new arrivals these include Denham, YMC and Suit for men with Vivienne Westwood Accessories and Mink Pink for women it will be another season definitely not to be missed so keep checking back.
